Parts Specialist I – Samco Enterprises, Inc.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team in the natural gas compressor industry. This role is critical to support shop operations and ensuring accurate parts availability for compressor packages and related equipment. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities

• Assist with surplus inventory, ensuring parts are labeled, tagged, and stored in proper bin & shelf locations.
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and inventory corrections.
• Communicate parts availability clearly and promptly to shop personnel.
• Process inter-shop requests and transfer orders between locations.
• Pull, stage, and verify parts for shop repair orders.
• Audit each shipment prior to packing to ensure products match order.
• Package orders for shipment based on Samco standards
• Assist with sourcing parts from OEMs and aftermarket vendors.
• Support receiving and inspection of inbound shipments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in parts retail, industrial supply, warehouse operations, or customer service preferred.
• Experience in natural gas compression or familiarity with compressor components is a strong plus.
• Ability to quickly learn technical product knowledge and part identification.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable work habits and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Forklift certified or willing to become forklift certified.
• Knowledge of safe work practices.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
