Parts Welding (2nd Shift)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MIG Welder to join our Sunset Vans team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and precision. In this role, you will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components according to project specifications and company standards.

Hours:

Monday-Friday

4:30pm-1:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MIG welding on a variety of metal components
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Set up welding equipment, tools, and materials prior to production
• Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and structural soundness
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly project goals
• Perform repairs, adjustments, or rework as needed
• Clean and maintain workstations and shop areas before the end of each shift to ensure a safe and organized environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of MIG welding experience (or equivalent training/certification)
• Strong understanding of welding safety practices and PPE usage
• Ability to operate welding tools, grinders, and metal fabrication equipment
• Ability to measure, cut, and prepare materials accurately
• Solid attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with other welding methods (TIG, Stick, Arc etc.)
• Fabrication or manufacturing environment experience
• Welding certification from a trade school or accredited program
