Parttime Paralegal

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Parttime Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of legal practices through detailed research, document management, and case preparation. Duties

  • Assist attorney with legal research utilizing tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to gather pertinent case law, statutes, and regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, pleadings, reports, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage legal case files and document management systems efficiently, ensuring all records are organized and up-to-date.
  • Conduct thorough document review and data entry to support ongoing litigation, estate planning, family law, or other practice areas.
  • Support project management tasks by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and maintaining calendars for attorneys and clients.

Requirements

  • Proven paralegal experience with familiarity in multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, litigation or related fields.
  • Strong research skills using Westlaw, LexisNexis or similar legal research platforms.
  • Experience with legal case management software Mycase/8am Law.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Proficiency in legal drafting, proofreading and transcription with high accuracy.
  • Knowledge of UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), estate planning procedures and other specialized legal areas is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with professional phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and clerical support in a busy law office setting. Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
