Party Host and Guest Experience Team Member

Join our newly open ultimate indoor children’s playground as a Party Host & Front Desk Team Member at Kiddo Adventure Indoor Playground - San Mateo.

In this energetic role, you will create a friendly and welcoming experiences for children and families of all ages. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and grow, working in a dynamic and fast pace environment especially, during weekends with birthday parties!

Responsibilities

• Greet children and families with warmth and professionalism, creating a friendly environment from the moment they arrive, to the moment they leave.
• Lead front desk guest check-ins for birthday parties, walk-ins and online reservations with efficiency and professionalism.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute themed parties and events under the guidance of team lead, ensuring every detail is executed to plan.
• Manage guest interactions during events, addressing questions, resolving conflicts promptly, and ensuring everyone has a positive experience.
• Monitor playground to ensure safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas, equipment, and party spaces at all times.
• Support team members to ensure smooth operations, at check-ins and during birthday party and open play events, working together as a team. “We win together, we fail together” motto.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in events management or hospitality roles is a plus
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
• Excellent customer service and guest services skills to connect authentically with variety of guests
• Prior experience 1+ year, working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, preschool, or classroom environments is a plus
• 1+ year experience, working in a children’s indoor playground is a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly with children, parents, and team members to ensure smooth operations and create a friendly & positive experience for all

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: starting $19.00 per hour, plus birthday parties tips (guaranteed, if assigned to a party). Additional Pay is commensurate upon experience.

Expected hours: 15-30 hours per week
