Party Host/Trolley Driver

About the Role
Trolley Pub Charlotte is Charlotte's #1 rated nightlife experience, a pedal-powered party trolley that takes groups of up to 14 riders through the bars and breweries of South End. We're looking for outgoing, reliable Party Hosts to join our team on a part-time basis.

As a Party Host, you're the face of the experience. You'll drive the trolley, manage the route, keep the energy up, and make sure every group, whether it's a bachelorette party, a birthday crew, or a corporate outing, has the time of their lives. No two tours are the same, and that's the point.

What You'll Do

Drive and operate the pedal trolley on 2-hour tours through Charlotte's South End neighborhood. Serve as the on-board host, keeping guests engaged, safe, and having fun from start to finish. Manage bar stops, assist with onboard drinks and coolers, and handle light logistics for each tour. Represent Trolley Pub Charlotte with professionalism and high energy at all times. Operate safely in all weather conditions, as we run rain or shine.

What We're Looking For

You're a people person first and foremost. You're comfortable commanding a room, keeping a crowd entertained, and staying calm when things get lively. Specifically, we're looking for someone who has a friendly, outgoing personality and genuine comfort being the center of attention, a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, availability on weekends (Fridays and Saturdays are our busiest days), and is 21 or older.

Prior experience in hospitality, entertainment, tour guiding, or event hosting is a plus but not required. If you've bartended, waited tables, coached, taught, or done anything that required keeping a group of people engaged, we want to hear from you.

Schedule

Part-time, primarily Friday and Saturday eveningsbut we are looking to grow weekday corporate events. Flexible scheduling, ideal for someone looking for a fun side income to complement another job or lifestyle.

Compensation

Hourly pay plus tips. Tips are a meaningful part of this role. Hosts on private tours like bachelorette parties, birthdays, and corporate groups regularly earn strong gratuities from happy crowds. We'll share more detail on compensation structure during the interview.
