POSITION SUMMARY:

Huntleigh USA is actively and urgently hiring a PT Passenger Services Supervisor for Birmingham–Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM). This position oversees wheelchair passenger services and airport operations, ensuring smooth daily performance, compliance with regulations, and high-quality service delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Report directly to the Account Manager and communicate with Huntleigh USA Office as required
• Supervise all Huntleigh USA operations at BHM including wheelchair services and assigned ancillary operations
• Maintain staffing levels and scheduling to meet operational demands and ensure efficiency
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll, scheduling, and operational records
• Maintain compliant, audit-ready personnel and training files
• Report incidents and operational issues immediately to leadership
• Ensure compliance with all airline, company, and government regulations
• Serve as liaison between airlines, airport authorities, and Huntleigh USA
• Communicate policy updates and security directives to staff
• Support labor relations and collective bargaining compliance where applicable
• Perform additional duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clear employment history
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2–5 years of aviation, operations, military, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment
• Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred
• Strong attention to detail and time management

PHYSICAL / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Airport environment with standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise, and mechanical equipment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct supervision of wheelchair passenger services operations at Birmingham–Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM).
