Pastry Chef

A Pastry Assistant works under the supervision of a pastry chef to help prepare, bake, and present a variety of baked goods and desserts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about baking, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation & Baking
• Assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and icings.
• Operate mixers, ovens, and other baking equipment.
• Follow recipes accurately and measure ingredients precisely.
• Decorating & Presentation
• Help decorate cakes, pastries, and desserts with icing, glazes, and toppings.
• Ensure products are visually appealing and meet quality standards.
• Inventory & Stocking
• Monitor ingredient levels and notify chef when supplies are low.
• Help with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Cleaning & Hygiene
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support & Teamwork
• Assist pastry chef and other kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Help with plating and packaging baked goods for service or sale.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
