- Design, develop, and execute dessert menus, pastries, breads, and specialty items
- Lead, train, and supervise the pastry team, fostering skill development and teamwork
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and flavor across all pastry items
- Manage daily pastry production schedules and workflow
- Oversee ordering, inventory control, and cost management for pastry ingredients
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership on menu planning and events
- Monitor trends and introduce innovative techniques and seasonal offerings
- Control food costs, minimize waste, and meet budget targets
- Ensure equipment maintenance and proper kitchen organization
