Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative, high-quality cake recipes tailored for cafés and coffee shop chains.
- Create new products and continuously improve existing recipes to meet market trends and customer demands.
- Ensure consistency, taste, texture, appearance, and shelf-life of all products.
- Conduct product testing, costing, and quality evaluations before launch.
- Optimize recipes for large-scale production while maintaining premium quality.
- Research industry trends and introduce creative concepts that differentiate our products in the market.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure efficient execution of recipes.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control.
- Train and guide production staff on new products and techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Cake Specialist, or Product Development Chef.
- Strong expertise in modern cakes, café desserts, loaf cakes, cheesecakes, mousse cakes, and individual dessert portions.
- Exceptional recipe development and product innovation skills.
- Strong understanding of large-scale bakery and dessert production.
- Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability and production efficiency.
- Knowledge of ingredient functionality, shelf-life improvement, and food cost management.
- Passion for excellence, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering outstanding products.
