Cultea Café is looking for a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef & Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods while also crafting specialty coffee and beverages. We are seeking someone creative, organized, and committed to delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Pastry & Kitchen:
Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, cookies, muffins, and desserts especially koshary,salankatiya,qastutah
Develop new bakery and dessert items for the menu.
Ensure consistent product quality and presentation.
Monitor ingredient inventory and minimize waste.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
Barista:
Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
Operate espresso machines and other café equipment.
Maintain beverage quality and consistency.
Keep the coffee station clean and well-stocked.
General:
Assist with daily kitchen and café operations.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Follow company recipes, standards, and procedures.
Work collaboratively with the team to provide excellent service.
Requirements:
Experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, Barista, or similar role.
Knowledge of pastry production, baking techniques, and dessert preparation.
Experience operating espresso machines and preparing coffee beverages.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and presentation.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary, bakery, or hospitality training/certification.
Experience in cafés, coffee shops, bakeries, or restaurants.
Creativity in developing new desserts and beverage offerings.
