We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong technical pastry expertise along with demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to support and guide a team. This role also requires solid computer skills and experience in reporting and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute a wide variety of high-quality pastries.
- Maintain consistent standards in production, presentation, and portion control.
- Support the daily operation of the pastry section including mise en place, production planning, and minimizing wastage.
- Assist in supervising and guiding junior staff when required.
- Manage inventory, ingredient ordering, and stock rotation.
- Handle administrative duties including daily production reports, stock reports, recipe documentation, and food safety records.
- Use computer systems proficiently for reporting, Excel sheets, inventory management, and other admin tasks.
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety standards at all times.
- The ideal candidate will be reporting the Executive Chef > Head Chef
Requirements
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience as Pastry Chef de Partie or similar.
- Proven leadership skills and previous experience in handling or guiding a team.
- Strong technical knowledge in pastry techniques.
- Good computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience in reporting and administrative work is essential.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Fluent in Arabic & English (spoken and written).
- Valid Food Safety Certificate is plus.
Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month
