Patent Paralegal

Are you an experienced Patent Paralegal who wants to be part of a collaborative, tech-forward team? Our firm is looking for a detail-oriented professional to support patent filings and prosecution in a full-time hybrid role based in Mesa, AZ. You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds: in-office collaboration with attorneys and paralegals, and the flexibility to work remotely part of the week.

We’re not your typical firm. We value efficiency, teamwork, and client service over billable hour requirements – this position has no minimum hourly billing requirement.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and file U.S. patent applications and prosecution documents
• Assist with client intake and matter management
• Collaborate with attorneys, fellow paralegals, and docketing staff to meet deadlines
• Help keep our clients’ innovations on track and protected

What We’re Looking For:

• 3 – 5 years of experience as a patent paralegal or legal assistant
• Proficiency with USPTO systems (Patent Center)
• Knowledge of U.S. and international patent filing procedures and timelines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Bonus Points For:

• Prior experience in a boutique IP firm or corporate in-house IP department
• Experience with trademark filing/prosecution
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
