We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Pathologist to join our dynamic team at Dr. Arshad Health Associates. This position is ideal for a passionate pathology specialist dedicated to advancing diagnostic accuracy and improving patient outcomes.

In this role, you will lead diagnostic services, interpret complex pathological findings, and play a critical role in guiding clinical teams in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. Your responsibilities will include analyzing laboratory samples to deliver precise, timely, and reliable diagnoses, directly impacting patient care and treatment plans. Working alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and utilizing advanced laboratory technologies, this role demands strong diagnostic acumen, a commitment to medical ethics, and a collaborative approach to patient care.

This is a part-time position requiring 4–5 working hours per day, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate the selected candidate's availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and interpret a variety of laboratory tests, including histopathology, cytology, hematology, microbiology, and chemical pathology to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide timely and accurate pathology reports and diagnoses to clinical teams to support optimal patient management.
• Work with healthcare providers to help interpret laboratory results and recommend additional tests or treatment approaches as necessary.
• Utilize telepathology tools to review, diagnose, and consult on pathology cases remotely, ensuring efficient and accurate reporting.
• Participate in case discussions, peer consultations, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within Dr. Arshad Health Associates.
• Ensure all laboratory protocols and safety standards are followed and contribute to maintaining a high standard of laboratory operation.
• Ensure compliance with PMDC/PMC standards and other regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate patient records and test results using our Health Management Information System.
• Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the growth of pathology services at Dr. Arshad Health Associates.

Requirements:

• MBBS with FCPS (Pathology) / FRCPath / equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Valid registration with Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) / Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a practicing Pathologist, with expertise in various laboratory techniques and diagnostics.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems and proficiency in using modern laboratory tools and technology, including telepathology.
• Strong leadership, communication and team collaboration skills with an analytical approach to diagnostics and patient management.
