Pathways Teacher/Librarian

The First Branch Unified School District, serving the communities of Chelsea and Tunbridge, Vermont, is seeking a dynamic and student-centered educator to serve as our Librarian and Pathways Teacher for the 20262027 school year. This full-time position is based at the Chelsea Campus and will support students in grades PreK and 5th8th.This unique role blends the responsibilities of a school librarian with teaching our Pathways class, a course designed to help students explore identity, personal interests, future aspirations, and real-world skills through project-based learning and social-emotional development.We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about reading, inquiry-based learning, and helping students discover who they are and what they love. We are Well.In 8th grade, the Pathways course also supports students in the development and completion of their Capstone Projects.
