Patient Account Representative

A large Orthopedic Practice is searching for a qualified candidate to work as a Patient Account Representative.

This person will have knowledge of medical/legal claims such as Workman's Comp and Auto related injuries.

In addition, the candidate will possess the following:

• Knowledge of patient registration, charge entry, billing and medical policies
• Ability to review and interpret patient bills, vouchers, error lists and reports; identify incorrect data and have the skills to make the corrections
• Requesting adjustments, resolving discrepancies, resubmitting any unpaid claim, sending out medical documentation
• Strong organization, problem-solving and error detection skills
• Excellent customer service skills in corresponding with patients, insurance companies, and attorneys

BILLING AND MEDICAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*****************************

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $22.50 per hour
