As a Patient Account Representative (PAR), you’ll play a key role in helping patients resolve their medical accounts. This is a customer-focused position where you’ll provide support, answer questions, and guide patients through their payment options with professionalism and care. If you enjoy problem-solving, communicating with people, and working in a supportive team environment, this is a great opportunity for you!
Take inbound and outbound calls to assist patients with account questions.
Explain balances, payment options, and financial responsibilities clearly and professionally.
Negotiate payment arrangements and process payments accurately.
Update patient information and maintain accurate account records.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve account issues.
Meet performance goals while providing excellent customer service.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable using computer systems and phone platforms.
Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Prior medical office or healthcare experience is a plus (but not required).
