Job Summary:
CMC Phoenix is seeking a Patient Advocate Quality Assurance Coordinator to support patient satisfaction and a positive care experience. This role conducts daily patient rounds, gathers and manages patient and family feedback, and coordinates responses to concerns and compliments. The position includes administrative responsibilities such as documentation, reporting, and coordination of follow-up, working closely with all departments to support service excellence.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. required
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card required
Current Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (State of Arizona) required
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required within 30 days of hire
2 years of hospital experience required
1+ years in customer service–related duties required
Must be able to speak, read, and write English and Spanish proficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
Excellent customer service and communication skills required
Job Specific Duties:
Provide administrative and operational support for customer service and director-led projects (scheduling, documentation, tracking action items).
Conduct daily patient rounding to assess satisfaction, document feedback, and escalate concerns.
Receive, document, and manage patient and family grievances and complaints, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution per policy.
Maintain logs and reports related to patient feedback and service recovery.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient experience, quality assurance, and departmental efficiency.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
