Patient Care Attendant

Key Responsibilities

A. Patient Care Support

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Help patients in mobility, including transferring, walking, and positioning.
• Assist in transporting patients to diagnostic areas, OT, ICU, or other departments.
• Support patients with wheelchair or stretcher movement.

B. Hygiene and Comfort

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient beds and surroundings.
• Change bed sheets, pillow covers, and patient linen as required.
• Assist in maintaining patient dignity and comfort at all times.
• Help in prevention of bed sores by assisting in repositioning patients.

C. Nursing Assistance

• Assist nurses during procedures when required.
• Help in preparing patients for procedures and examinations.
• Carry reports, samples, and documents within hospital departments.
• Assist in maintaining stock of patient care supplies.

D. Infection Control and Safety

• Follow infection control protocols and hospital policies.
• Use PPE as required.
• Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.

E. General Duties

• Respond promptly to patient calls.
• Maintain cleanliness of ward and patient care areas.
• Report patient complaints or abnormal observations to nursing staff.
• Assist during emergencies under nurse supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
