Patient Care & Clinical Technology Coordinator

Job Title: Patient Care & Clinical Technology Coordinator
Company: Elmé Aesthetics & Oculofacial Plastic Surgery
Location: Snyder, NY 14226
Employment Type: Per Diem

About Elmé

Elmé is a private medical practice specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive oculofacial plastic surgery. Created as a thoughtful response to careless medicine, we place the humanity of every patient at the heart of our work.

We blend clinical precision with personalized care to help our patients not only look their best, but truly feel their best. Every interaction and detail is designed with intention, refinement, and compassion.

About the Role

We are seeking a Patient Care & Clinical Technology Coordinator — a detail-oriented, healthcare-focused professional who is comfortable operating at the intersection of patient care and clinical systems.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of medical environments who takes pride in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuity of care across the patient journey. You will play a key role in supporting both front-of-house coordination and clinical operations, ensuring that each patient experience is seamless, safe, and aligned with Elmé’s standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a knowledgeable and professional first point of contact for patients, ensuring all interactions are handled with empathy and discretion.
  • Manage electronic medical records (EMR), scheduling systems, and patient communications with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate the full patient journey — from intake and documentation to procedure preparation and follow-up care.
  • Support clinical workflows by ensuring proper documentation, consent forms, and pre/post-procedure instructions are complete and compliant.
  • Collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to optimize patient flow, safety, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical or system-related issues within practice management and clinical software platforms.
  • Assist with maintaining regulatory compliance, patient confidentiality (HIPAA), and overall operational standards.

Ideal Candidate

You bring a healthcare-first mindset, combining clinical awareness with strong organizational and technical skills.

  • Experience in a medical, surgical, dermatology, ophthalmology, or aesthetics setting strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, medical scheduling platforms, and patient care workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage sensitive information responsibly.
  • Calm, professional demeanor with the ability to support patients through potentially vulnerable or emotional experiences.
  • A commitment to patient safety, ethical care, and continuous improvement.
  • Alignment with our philosophy that patients and team members are humans first — deserving of thoughtful, respectful care.

Why Join Elmé
