Patient Care Coordinatior- TMS

The Mood Center, LLC provides comprehensive behavioral health treatment services tailored to our patients specific conditions. We treat patients with a wide range of mental health disorders through medically supervised TMS, ketamine (IV and Intramuscular injections)and Spravato (Esketamine) nasal spray. Our goal is for patients to have sustained relief from their symptoms while in a serene, safe and modern environment.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator specializing in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients undergoing TMS, Spravato and Ketamine IV treatments, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience from initial consultation through treatment completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Administration and documentation of TMS and Spravato treatments
  • Administrative duties including but not limited to; payment collection, answering phone calls, maintaining patient charts and other assigned duties.

Candidate would be staffed primarily at our Annapolis location, but should be able to travel to our Columbia location as needed. Candidate must be available to work 8-10 hour shifts. The position is part time, with the potential to become full time in the near future.

Qualifications:

  • Should have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in behavioral health care
  • Should be self-reliant and highly skilled in customer service
  • Prior experience in TMS treatment administration strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in Spravato treatment administration strongly preferred
  • Should possess working knowledge of medical terminology and HIPPA regulations
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Experience working with behavioral health patients preferred
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Experience in insurance verification with general knowledge of plan coverage, benefits, copay and cost determination preferred
  • Ability to successfully manage payment collection and understanding treatment pricing and package rates
  • Ability to maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with the practice standards and HIPPA regulations
  • Ability to maintain a clean, safe and inviting environment for both patients and staff

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and patient care
  • Utilize EMR to maintain patient records, documentation and scheduling
  • Ensure all aspects of intake and patient treatment are completed, including patient urinalyses and pregnancy testing
  • Collection and documentation of patient insurance information, payment and knowledge of Mood Center pricing
  • Maintain proficiency in Spravato and TMS treatment regulations including but not limited to, medication administration, obtaining vital signs, and observation documentation
  • Working in conjunction with the Nurse on Duty and Primary Provider
  • Train and support other Patient Care Coordinators to ensure workflow efficiency
  • Basic knowledge and experience navigating Microsoft Office
  • Complete projects/tasks as assigned by the CEO/Practice Manager

Pay: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour
