Patient Care Coordinator

Our pediatric dental office in Ashburn, VA is currently looking to bring on a full time Patient Care Coordinator to help support our growing practice.

Full Job Description

A fast pace pediatric dental office located in the heart of the Brambleton Town Center is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator with long term career goals to join our wonderful team in a fun and professional environment. Must love working with children and work well in a team environment. We are a great team of professionals who are looking for someone with strong communication skills, who is highly organized, self-motivated, and has a positive attitude.

This is a full time position and while our schedule is subject to change, below is an overview of our weekly schedule. Please note WE DO WORK on school holidays.

Monday: 830 AM-6 PM

Tuesday: 930 AM- 7 PM

Wednesday: 830 AM- 6 PM

Thursday: 7 AM-5 PM

Friday: 7 AM-3 PM

Candidate MUST have the following qualifications:

• Strong multi tasker
• Excellent communication skills
• Love working with children
• Dependable and detail oriented
• Enthusiastic team player
• No prior dental experience is required ( We are willing to train the right person)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Positive attitude
• Comply with all regulations, protocols, and procedures

Position Details

• Responsible for excellent customer service
• Answering incoming phone calls, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, and all other front desk duties.
• Presenting treatment plans and answering any questions parents may have.
• Insurance verification

Insurance verification duties include but not limited to:

• Verification and detailed insurance benefit breakdowns
• Entering coverage for each patient
• Checking status of past due claims and insurance problems

Office Participation

• Actively participate in staff meetings
• Interact with other team members in a helpful manner to accomplish our mission of excellent patient care.
