Patient Care Coordinator for Physical Therapy Office

We’re looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) Patient Care Coordinator to join our Apopka clinic and play a key role in creating a positive, organized, and supportive experience for every patient. In this medical front desk role, you’ll manage scheduling, handle patient communication, and assist with insurance verification and authorizations. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients and help guide them confidently through their care. We’re looking for a motivated, reliable, and professional Patient Care Coordinator to join our Apopka office and play a key role in helping people get rid of pain and become more active again.

Position Details

  • Location: 125 S Park Ave, Apopka, FL
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Type: Full-time, in-office
  • Pay: $16 – $18 per hour

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome patients with warmth, kindness, and professionalism
  • Schedule appointments and manage daily clinic flow
  • Verify insurance benefits daily and manage authorizations accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate clearly with patients, therapists, and team members
  • Handle calls, check-ins, and follow-ups with accuracy and care
  • Help create a smooth, positive experience from start to finish

Requirements (Please Read Carefully)

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) – Required
  • At least 1 year of healthcare front desk experience – Required
  • Experience verifying insurance benefits and/or obtaining authorizations – Strongly Preferred
  • Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM


Only applicants with healthcare front desk experience and bilingual Spanish will be considered.


Preferred Experience

  • Physical therapy, chiropractic, or outpatient clinic setting
  • Medical scheduling and high-volume phone handling
  • EMR/EHR systems
