Job Description:
Gastro Centers of Pennsylvania is seeking a Full-Time Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced medical environment and demonstrates exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.

The PCC plays a key role in improving patient satisfaction and retention by providing accurate, timely, and consistent information to patients and providers. This role includes both clinic and endoscopy scheduling, as well as patient education.

Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, in-person position.

Compensation:

• $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring all required documentation is completed
• Schedule and confirm appointments for both clinic visits and endoscopy procedures
• Provide patient education related to procedures, preparation, and follow-up care
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally and courteously
• Demonstrate empathy, respect, and professionalism in all patient interactions
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Verify insurance coverage and process insurance-related documentation
• Assist with billing and collection of patient payments
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers as needed
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and operations

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialty, primary care or Ambulatory Surgery Center setting required
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI)
• Patient-focused team player with a passion for delivering high-quality care
