Patient Care Coordinator / Insurance verification (Behavioral Health)

Chicagoland Neuropsychology is hiring a full-time Patient Care Coordinator with experience in insurance verification, scheduling, and front office operations in a medical or mental health setting. This role focuses on patient communication, insurance benefits verification, and prior authorizations, with a strong emphasis on customer service and accuracy. Applicants with prior experience in mental health are encouraged to apply. Your main responsibilities would include:

• Managing phone and email communications
• Scheduling and verifying insurance benefits
• Obtaining pre-authorizations if necessary

Required Qualifications:

• Must be knowledgeable about insurance terminology, PPO, deductibles, co-pays, etc., with private insurance and Medicare
• Excellent customer service skills
• License/Certification: Medical Billing Certificate is not required, but would be a plus
