Patient Care Navigator - Scheduling & Insurance Support

Job Description

We are a small, patient-centered physical therapy clinic looking for a friendly, curious, and highly organized Patient Care Navigator to join our team for full time employment.

If you’re someone who enjoys talking with people, learning new systems, and solving little puzzles along the way, this role might be for you. Our Patient Care Navigator helps patients schedule care, understand their insurance benefits, and feel welcomed from the moment they contact our clinic.

What You’ll Do/A Day In The Life

• Greet patients and create a warm, organized, and calm clinic experience
• Answer phone calls to schedule new and returning patient appointments
• Help verify insurance benefits to allow patients understand their insurance benefits and coverage
• Obtain and track insurance authorizations when needed so visits stay approved and uninterrupted
• Maintain accurate patient records and communication
• Work alongside therapists to keep the clinic organized and running smoothly

Bonus Skills

• Experience in a medical office or customer service role
• Familiarity with insurance verification or healthcare scheduling
• Interest in healthcare, rehabilitation, or physical therapy

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
