Patient Care Technician

Highly reputable, team-orientated optometry practice has a full time opening for a motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician. Prior experience not required, training is provided. Technician's play a key role in each patient's experience by helping the doctors with pre-testing, patient flow, and ensuring a patient's visit runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Greet and prepare patients for exams
• Check insurance availability
• Perform preliminary testing
• Assist doctors during patient visits
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Help keep clinic areas clean and organized
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Handle incoming & outgoing phone calls

• Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
