Job Title: Part-Time Patient Care Technician (PCT) – Surgery Center
Location: Lake Geneva, WI
Schedule: Part-Time (3 Days per Week, Day Shift; No Nights/Weekends/Holidays)

Position Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is an essential member of the clinical team, providing direct and indirect patient care while supporting efficient surgical flow. This role includes patient preparation, recovery support, and a strong emphasis on operating room (OR) turnover, cleaning, and maintaining a sterile, organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake, including vital signs, rooming, and documentation support
- Support nursing staff in pre-operative and post-operative care
- Safely transport patients throughout the facility
- Perform operating room (OR) and procedure room turnover between cases, ensuring timely and efficient case flow
- Conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection of ORs and clinical areas in accordance with infection control protocols
- Stock and restock supplies in procedure rooms, pre-op, and post-op areas
- Assist with maintaining inventory and notifying leadership of supply needs
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Provide compassionate, professional interaction with patients and team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA, EMT, or prior patient care experience preferred
- Experience in a surgical center, hospital, or procedural setting strongly preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and room turnover tasks
