Patient Care Technician (OVERNIGHT)

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support patient care activities within a variety of clinical settings, ensuring comfort, safety, and efficient workflow. This is a PART-TIME OVERNIGHT POSITION, 1-2 nights a week, Monday thru Friday, 6:30pm-6:30am. The ideal candidate would also have availablity to fill in during the day as a Patient Care Technician on a PRN basis.

Duties

• Assist nursing staff with patient assessments, vital signs, drain care/catheter care
• Support patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort needs during treatment and recovery phases
• Monitor patients’ conditions closely, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team promptly
• Provide compassionate support to patients and their families throughout their care journey.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a surgical setting/PACU is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions clearly and accurately
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients for extended periods while maintaining professionalism

Pay: $18.00 per hour
