Shift Details

• Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:15 AM (Monday – Friday)
• Rotating weekends required

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) supports nursing staff in delivering patient care by assisting with daily activities, monitoring patient status, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment in a recovery room setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, mobility, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient status
• Support nursing staff with basic patient care tasks
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
• Assist in transporting patients within the facility
• Ensure patient rooms and care areas are clean and organized
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and families
• Follow safety, infection control, and hospital protocols

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nursing Attendant or Patient Care Technician
• Completion of an approved Patient Care Associate/Technician training program
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
