To assist patients and their families throughout their hospital visit by guiding them, providing information, ensuring smooth service flow, and improving patient satisfaction.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Patient Reception & Registration

  • Welcome patients politely and guide them to the right department.
  • Handle OP registration, appointment scheduling, and payment process.
  • Maintain accuracy in patient details and documentation.

2. Patient Guidance & Assistance

  • Guide patients to consultation rooms, labs, radiology, pharmacy, and billing.
  • Assist elderly patients, pregnant women, and critical patients.
  • Coordinate wheelchair and stretcher support when needed.

3. Appointment Handling

  • Schedule doctor appointments and follow-up visits.
  • Inform patients about waiting time, doctor availability, and changes.
  • Maintain daily appointment status.

4. Communication & Information Support

  • Provide information about hospital services, procedures, packages, and insurance.
  • Communicate clearly with patients about instructions, reports, and next steps.
  • Handle patient queries with patience and clarity.

5. Inpatient (IP) Coordination

  • Assist with admission formalities and room allocation.
  • Coordinate with nursing, billing, and housekeeping teams.
  • Support during discharge process (billing, reports, summary).

6. Patient Feedback & Service Quality

  • Collect patient feedback forms and escalate issues to managers.
  • Ensure high patient satisfaction by providing timely support.
  • Maintain a polite, professional, and empathetic approach.

7. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain patient logs, daily outpatient count, appointment records.
  • Update MIS sheets and share daily reports with the manager.
  • Coordinate with insurance desk for documentation if needed.
