Patient Coordinator/Receptionist

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Ope
- Manage the front desk by answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting with inquiries.
- Coordinate and manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Maintain and update patient records accurately.
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and emails.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars.
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.

- Other tasks involved with helping patients before and after the doctor visit.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a medical office is necessary.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide excellent patient support.
- Proficiency in proofreading, typing, and transcribing information accurately.
- Knowledge of podiatry receptionist duties is a plus.
- Ability to coordinate projects effectively and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent calendar management skills to schedule appointments efficiently.

- Working with other medical staff as a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
