Patient counsellor

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel patients regarding treatment procedures, especially IVF/medical treatments.

Explain treatment plans, risks, benefits, timelines, and costs clearly.

Provide emotional support and address patient concerns.

Coordinate between doctors, nursing staff, and patients.

Follow up with patients for appointments, reports, and treatment cycles.

Maintain patient records and documentation.

Handle billing explanation and financial counselling.

Ensure high patient satisfaction and service quality.

Assist in admission and discharge process if required.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Skills Required:

Excellent communication skills (Tamil & English preferred).

Strong counselling and interpersonal skills.

Empathy and patient handling ability.

Basic medical knowledge (IVF/OBG preferred).

Computer knowledge (Hospital Management System).

Ability to handle emotional and sensitive situations.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology / Social Work / Nursing / Life Sciences / BHMS / B.Sc.

Experience in Hospital / IVF centre preferred.

1–3 years experience in patient counselling (preferred).

Pay: ₹10,142.93 - ₹50,000.00 per month
