Job Title: Patient Escort

Location: Jamaica, NY 11432
Duration: 9 Weeks
Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (7 hours/day, 35 hours/week)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a reliable and compassionate Patient Escort to assist with the safe and efficient transport of patients within a healthcare facility. This role involves supporting patients traveling by wheelchair, stretcher, or hydraulic stretcher while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Escort patients throughout the facility using wheelchairs, stretchers, or hydraulic stretchers
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during transport
• Follow all hospital protocols and safety guidelines
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
• Maintain timely and efficient patient movement in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
