Job Type: PRN + Non Exempt

Compensation: Base pay starting at $29/hour

Position Overview:

This hybrid role supports both front desk operations and clinical flow, serving as a key component in the overall patient experience at Summer Aesthetics. The position is responsible for delivering a seamless, elevated guest experience while assisting providers during treatments and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, creating a welcoming and professional environment
  • Communicate with clients via phone, text, and email
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
  • Check patients in and out efficiently
  • Educate patients on skincare products and assist with retail sales
  • Help ensure every guest has a memorable and elevated experience
  • Assist providers with aesthetic treatments including Botox, dermal fillers, and biostimulators
  • Prepare treatment rooms and supplies prior to procedures
  • Prepare medications and treatment materials for providers
  • Assist with patient charting and documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and clinical areas
  • Follow all clinic safety and sanitation protocols
  • Maintain a clean, inviting, and professional environment.
  • Support inventory tracking and skincare product restocking.
  • Participate in clinical training, product education, and required certifications.
  • Assist with clinic events, promotions, marketing initiatives, social content, and photography as needed.
  • Uphold Summer Aesthetics’ brand values, customer service standards, and a culture of excellence.

The duties listed above represent the essential functions of the position, though additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve.

Revenue Expectations & Bonus Structure

This role includes actively supporting and participating in company revenue goals. Revenue, and performance metrics are communicated during onboarding and are aligned with industry standard targets.

Bonus eligibility is based on achieving or exceeding performance benchmarks as outlined in the SUMMIT Bonus Plan. Actual expectations and tiers may vary by tenure, clinic location, and market demand.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time (6–8 hours per shift).
  • Ability to sit, bend, reach, and position the body appropriately to safely assist in treatments.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (treatment equipment, product inventory, supplies).
  • Visual acuity sufficient to safely assist in medical treatments.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks, for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Must have an active Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, RMA, DCMA) or Certified Aesthetic Consultant (CAC) certification
  • Must have a minimum of two years of customer service experience
  • Passionate about aesthetics/wellness and patient care
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Comfortable supporting both administrative and clinical workflows
  • Experience with EMR systems (Zenoti preferred but not required)
  • Eager to learn and grow professionally and personally

Work Schedule & Environment

  • PRN + Non Exempt
  • Position may include evenings, weekends, or event shifts based on business needs
  • Hours are not guaranteed
  • Eligible for overtime for any hours worked over 40 hours per week
  • Requires working in a medical spa environment with exposure to lasers, skincare products, needles, and clinical equipment
