As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a warm, organized, mission-minded Patient Experience Coordinator who can help us create an excellent patient experience and support the daily operations of the clinic.
About this Role
- The Patient Experience Coordinator is often the first voice, first face, and first impression patients experience at Abundant Life Center for Wellness. This role is essential to the daily flow of the clinic and directly supports our providers, patients, families, and operations team.
- This is not just a receptionist position. This person helps create peace, clarity, order, and trust for patients who may be navigating health concerns, treatment decisions, or questions about their care.
- The right person for this role will be able to manage administrative details while making people feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. This person should be comfortable answering phones, scheduling appointments, communicating with patients, supporting the provider team, maintaining organization, and helping the clinic operate smoothly.
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys serving others, communicates with warmth and professionalism, has strong attention to detail, and wants their work to be connected to a larger mission.

What You’ll Do:
Patient Experience and Communication
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and care.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient questions with patience, clarity, and kindness.
- Schedule appointments and help maintain an organized patient flow throughout the day.
- Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes.
- Communicate with patients about appointments, services, forms, and next steps.
- Help patients and families feel seen, heard, respected, and supported.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all patient interactions.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Support daily front office operations and help keep the clinic running smoothly.
- Enter and update information in the clinic’s electronic medical record system.
- Assist with filing, data entry, forms, and general administrative tasks.
- Help maintain accurate patient records and internal documentation.
- Support the provider and operations team with daily needs.
- Help coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff.
- Assist with office supplies, organization, and front desk readiness.
- Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the clinic.
Clinic Environment and Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, peaceful, and welcoming reception area.
- Help create an atmosphere that reflects the values of Abundant Life Center for Wellness.
- Ensure patient-facing areas are tidy, professional, and inviting.
- Contribute to a clinic environment marked by service, excellence, integrity, and compassion.
Technology and Systems
- Use email, phone systems, electronic medical records, and office software to support patient care and daily operations.
- Assist with patient forms, scheduling systems, and internal communication tools.
- Learn and use clinic systems with accuracy and consistency.
- Support basic EMR/CRM-related tasks as the clinic continues to improve its systems and workflows.
- Use Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or other productivity tools as needed.
Growth and Learning
- Develop a working knowledge of holistic, integrative, functional, and natural healthcare.
- Learn the clinic’s services, patient pathways, and communication standards.
- Participate in improving systems, workflows, and patient experience.
- Grow in responsibility as the clinic continues to expand.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of experience as a receptionist, front office administrator, office coordinator, administrative assistant, patient care coordinator, or similar role.
- Experience in healthcare, private medical practice, wellness, or customer service preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email, and basic office technology.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Strabane, PA.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in business, healthcare administration, or related field.
- Experience in integrative, functional, holistic, natural, or alternative healthcare.
- Experience using an EMR, CRM, scheduling software, or phone system.
- CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions
- This role is based primarily indoors in a clinic office setting. The environment is fast-moving, patient-centered, and team-oriented.
- This position requires regular sitting, standing, walking, speaking, hearing, computer use, and occasional lifting or carrying as needed for office tasks.
- Some remote clerical work may be required outside of normal office hours.
