Patient Financial Coordinator

Smiles for Maine Orthodontics is looking for a SELF-MOTIVATED, ORGANIZED, and HARDWORKING individual to join the team as a Financial Coordinator!

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:15-4:30

Job Summary:

The Financial Coordinator is responsible for managing patient financial arrangements, insurance verification and billing, and ensuring a clear, positive financial experience for patients. This role plays a key part in case acceptance and practice revenue cycle management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage collections of accounts receivable
  • Verify insurance coverage
  • Complete patient contracts
  • Perform insurance claim submissions
  • Process payments

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILIES:

  • Schedule appointments
  • Answer phones

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Required:
  • High School Diploma
  • Customer Service
  • Computer Skills
  • Preferred:
  • Financial/AR experience
