Patient Focused Dental Assistant Wanted!

Job Description:

• Full-time Dental Assistant
• Starting at $19/hour, pay is based on current competence and experience
• Looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible

Cedarwood Dentistry is a small private, family practice that focuses on personalized care for each patient. We have a team of 8 quality individuals who work well together to make sure every patient is cared for.

We are seeking a personable, professional assistant who is able to support the patient's care journey and provide exceptional care to patients by providing the following:

• Medical history update
• Update Assessments - Appropriate x rays including Pano, FMX, Bws, Assisting Hygienists in Periodontal Charting
• Assisting Hygienists with Polishing patients
• Starting limited exams on patients, able to do basic investigatory work, taking X-rays and pictures as indicated, and able to pass findings to the dentist.
• Take impressions, pour models, and make whitening trays

Clinical Requirements:

• Assisting certificate is nice but not required for the right candidate.
• CPR certified (our team has training every 2 years - provided by office)
• Previous experience is nice, but not required.
• X-ray certification recommended, but can obtain once hired.

Office Schedule:

• Morning meeting at 7:50 - first patient is at 8 am - 5 pm with 1 hour lunch between 1 and 2 pm. Every other Friday 8-1
