Patient Service Representative

Imperium Healthcare Consulting is looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual to join Empire Dermatology as a Patient Service Representative at our Camillus office!

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on helping others and enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. We value teamwork, professionalism, and dedication to providing excellent patient care.

This is a full-time position with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00. Enjoy a consistent schedule with no nights or weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the office, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
  • Greet patients, verify and update their information, and efficiently check them in.
  • Manage electronic health records (EHR), patient portals, and insurance information.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to messages promptly.
  • Collect payments, perform insurance eligibility checks, and prepare patient charts.
  • Distribute reports, send referrals, and maintain accurate filing of closed encounters.
  • Monitor office supplies, manage skincare product transactions, and keep workstations tidy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth office operations.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Prior customer service experience preferred (healthcare experience a plus)
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach
