Patient Services Representative - Front Desk

We have an open position for a Patient Services Representative at the Pediatric Center of Grand Prairie. Ideally, you will be flexible to help support our Las Colinas location, as needed. Our office is VERY fast paced, so we need someone who gets energized by having a lot of things going on at once. As a Patient Services Representative at our company, you should have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet. Here are some of things you will be doing:

- Answering phones and scheduling appointments for patients who call in.

- Verifying insurance and ensuring all patient files are complete.

- Checking patients in and out for their appointments and collecting any, balances, co-pays, deductibles, etc.

Since you will be working directly with patients, being empathetic and sensitive is important. The ultimate goal of your tasks is to help our patients feel welcome and comfortable in our office; and to enter patient information in the system in a timely manner that helps to facilitate patient flow.

Job Requirements:

2+ years front office experience in a healthcare environment is A MUST!

Exceptional customer service skills

Knowledge of healthcare insurance plans

Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Proven track record of work attendance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
