Patient Services Specialist (Mid-day)

Overview

Voyager Home Healthcare (https://voyagerhomehealthcare.com/) provides in-home Nursing, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Personal Care Worker services throughout the state of Colorado. Additionally, we have four CNA schools (https://www.getcna.co/) which are unique in that they allow students to take their classes in an online format while enabling them to attend in-person clinical and practice labs.

Program Overview:

Candidates hired for this position will work on the administrative side of our Parent CNA program. Parent CNA is a Colorado Medicaid program in which a parent and/or family member can be reimbursed to care for a loved one with disabilities or special conditions. It typically involves a parent providing care to their child or children.

Duties

• Maintains a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, texts, and emails
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain excellent and detailed records
• Receive patient referrals and coordinate with clinical staff
• Conduct phone assessments for incoming clients
• Work closely with Billing and Payroll to ensure accuracy
• Adapts quickly to a changing work environment
• Is reliable, engaged, and provides feedback to improve processes and policies
• Tracking patient insurance eligibility
• Reviews phone calls daily
• Participates in a phone rotation
• Tracking orders such as physician's orders, face-to-face orders, and patient assessments

Hours and Pay

Monday through Friday, 9:30 am-6:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Training will occur Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm, and last for a minimum of 4 weeks.

This position is $26/hour.
