Patient Transport Driver

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Patient Transport Driver to join our healthcare team! Duties

• Safely operate vehicles to move patients between hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities
• Assist patients with boarding and disembarking vehicles, providing support for those with mobility challenges
• Maintain clear communication with medical staff to coordinate timely pickups and drop-offs
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary, including assisting with wheelchairs or mobility aids
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a friendly, respectful attitude toward patients and staff at all times

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• At least 1 year experience in shuttle driving or bus driving
• Must be at least 26 years old
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Must have a good MVR with no suspension in the past 5 years
• Experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver demonstrating safe driving practices
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, medical staff, and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist patients with mobility needs safely
• Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety
• Prior experience in customer service roles that require patience and professionalism
• Flexibility to work varied shifts between the hours of 6am and 5pm, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
