PATIENT TRANSPORT VAN DRIVER - RADIATION ONCOLOGY (Casual Relief)

REPORTS TO: Cancer Center Director/ Radiation Oncology Clinical Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY
In this position, the Patient Transport Driver is responsible for the transportation of radiation oncology patients around the Big Horn Basin to the Cancer Center for their treatments round trip. The driver is responsible for cleaning and servicing the vehicle, record maintenance, and assisting with scheduling trips.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Valid clean active Wyoming driver’s license.
Demonstrate proof of insurability and maintain a clean driving record annually.

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. Working experience as a driver preferred.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
BLS (AHA); Clean active driver’s license.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Transports patients to destination and back.
• Arranges all vehicle maintenance and related documentation.
• Maintains all safety equipment, and ensures all safety requirements of operating the vehicle are met.
• Assists with patient scheduling.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

• Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required.
• Contributes to a positive work environment that is supportive of co-workers and patient’s needs.
• Dependability in reporting for work as scheduled and on-time.
