Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Transporters assist with the movement of patients, equipment, supplies in and around the hospital. In this patient-care support role, colleagues have important contact with patients, visitor and clinical staff every day. Join our team where your commitment to service, safety and professionalism will contribute to a positive patient experience.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will safely lift patients on and off beds and transport them safely to and from special service and treatment areas using wheelchairs or moveable beds.

• 
  You will comfort patients and their families by offering support and encouragement.
  

• You will deliver equipment and supplies to assigned treatment areas and patient care areas.

• 
  You will pick up and deliver laboratory specimens.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• 
  HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• 
  American Heart Association Basic Life Saving (BLS) Required with90 days of hire.
