Careage Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare of Cherokee is a 44 bed facility located in the heart of Cherokee, IA. Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility is looking for excellent candidates to help us in achieving the best care possible for our residents. Job Duties:

• Taking residents to and from appointments both locally and occasionally to Sioux Falls, Sioux City etc.
• Transporting admissions and discharges as needed.
• Making sure physicians get all paperwork needed
• Assisting residents at appointments
• May assist residents to bathroom
• Making sure all paperwork returns to facility
• Additional hours available occasionally helping with facility maintenance items based on skills.
• Staying on top of vehicle maintenance for both facility vans.
• Keeping logs of vehicle mileage.
• Setting up transportation through Medicaid for appropriate recipients.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to obtain a Chauffers License within 30 days of hire,
• Driving record check will be completed and must pass based on insurance requirements.
• CPR required for position but can be obtained immediately upon hire.
