Patient Transporter (PRN)

Ferncrest Manor is currently looking to hire Transportation Aides to go out on appointments with our residents. You will be responsible for assisting patients in and out of transport vans, ambulances, cars, etc.; lifting patients on and off beds; moving them to and from special service and treatment areas. as well as using wheelchairs or moveable beds. This is a PRN position. Hours vary each week. You do not have to be a certified nursing assistant but it is preferred. All applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check, and have a flexible schedule. We will sometimes ask that the aide come to the facility at least 30 minutes prior to the appointment to help get the resident up and ready for their appointment if need be.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour
