Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient concerns, grievances, and feedback.
- Educate patients and families about hospital policies, patient rights, and available services.
- Assist patients with admission, discharge, billing clarifications, and access to welfare schemes or insurance.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to resolve patient-related issues promptly.
- Support vulnerable patients (elderly, disabled, low-income, or unaccompanied patients).
- Monitor patient satisfaction and conduct patient rounds when required.
- Facilitate counseling and emotional support for patients and families.
- Ensure compliance with patient rights, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of complaints, resolutions, and welfare interventions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to patient care and experience.
