Patio Cocktailer / Server

Ruzzo's Retreat is looking for a Seasonal Patio Cocktail Server who wants to be part of more than just a typical serving job. We are a small and growing company, and we are looking for someone who is excited to be part of a tight knit team, help create a great customer experience, and take pride in helping the taproom run smoothly.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys being part of a small team, taking ownership, and helping create a great experience for guests specifically in our outdoor beer garden and patio area.

We have 30 taps featuring beer, wine, and non alcoholic options, a full cocktail menu, a small food menu, and a huge outdoor beer garden. During the warmer months, we host large live music nights every Friday and Saturday, creating a high energy and fun environment with strong potential for busy shifts and increased tips.

What you'll do

• Provide friendly, efficient cocktail and beverage service exclusively in our outdoor patio and beer garden area
• Serve and deliver drinks to patio guests, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non alcoholic beverages
• Take drink and food orders from patio guests and communicate them accurately
• Help guests with drink and food menu questions
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the patio area throughout your shift, including tables, chairs, and surrounding spaces
• Monitor and restock the patio service area as needed
• Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently
• Support small food service as needed for patio guests
• Help identify small issues early and keep the outdoor area running smoothly
• Support the team during private events, busy weekends, and summer live music nights
• Jump in where needed to help the overall success of the taproom

What we're looking for

• Serving or cocktail experience preferred
• Comfortable taking orders and delivering beverages in a fast paced, outdoor environment
• Friendly, outgoing, and great with customers
• Strong work ethic and willingness to be part of a team
• Organized, proactive, and attentive to the upkeep of the patio area
• Able to stay calm and efficient during busy shifts
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willing to take ownership and help beyond the basic responsibilities of serving
• Excited to be part of a growing local brand
• Looking for part time shifts mainly working Fridays and Saturday evenings through the summer
