Job Responsibilities:

1. Pattern Creation and Development:

• Create accurate patterns based on design sketches and specifications.
• Develop and modify patterns for new styles, ensuring correct fit and proportions.
• Use both manual and digital tools, such as CAD software, to create and refine patterns.

2. Fitting and Adjustments:

• Conduct fitting sessions to assess the fit of samples and make necessary pattern adjustments.
• Collaborate with designers and technical teams to ensure patterns meet the desired fit and aesthetic.
• Make pattern corrections based on feedback from fittings and prototypes.

3. Grading and Sizing:

• Develop grading rules to create patterns in different sizes while maintaining the integrity of the design.
• Ensure accurate scaling of patterns for all sizes in the production range.

4. Technical Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain detailed pattern documentation, including technical specifications and construction notes.
• Create detailed sketches and diagrams to communicate pattern details to the production team.

5. Collaboration with Design and Production Teams:

• Work closely with designers to understand the vision and translate it into patterns.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues related to pattern accuracy, fabric behaviour, and garment construction.
• Provide technical advice and solutions during the development and manufacturing process.

6. Prototyping and Sample Creation:

• Oversee the creation of garment samples using the developed patterns.
• Evaluate prototypes to ensure that they align with design expectations and make any necessary adjustments.

7. Quality Control and Problem-Solving:

• Conduct quality checks on patterns and final samples to ensure they meet company standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to pattern-making and garment construction.
• Production Support:

Provide ongoing support to the production team to ensure patterns are executed correctly during manufacturing.

Address and resolve any pattern-related issues that arise during mass production.

• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and fit.
• CAD knowledge is must
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with designers and production teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Experience in manual pattern-making and draping is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
