A Service Bar Bartender is a specialist who primarily focuses on crafting beverages for servers and fulfilling drink orders for customers in a service-oriented environment. This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and the ability to work seamlessly with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and timely beverage service.

Responsibilities:

  • Beverage Preparation:

    • Prepare a variety of drinks, including cocktails, mocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, based on customer and server orders.
    • Follow established recipes and guidelines for consistency and quality.
  • Order Fulfillment:

    • Receive drink orders from servers and promptly prepare them in a timely manner.
    • Communicate effectively with servers to ensure accurate and complete orders.
  • Efficiency and Organization:

    • Work in a fast-paced environment to meet the demands of server and customer orders.
    • Maintain an organized workspace, keeping track of drink orders and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all beverages meet the establishment's standards for taste, presentation, and quality.
  • Collaboration:

    • Coordinate closely with servers and front-of-house staff to prioritize and deliver drink orders effectively.
    • Communicate any potential delays or issues to servers and management.
  • Ingredient Knowledge:

    • Possess a good understanding of the establishment's beverage menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
    • Stay informed about any menu changes or updates.
  • Cleanliness and Hygiene:

    • Maintain a clean and sanitized service bar area, including equipment, glassware, and utensils.
    • Adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Customer Interaction:

    • Interact with servers and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Time Management:

    • Work efficiently to ensure that drinks are prepared and delivered promptly to servers and customers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a service bar role is preferred.
