Paver Installer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Paver Installer to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality outdoor transformations including patios, walkways, driveways, hardscapes, landscape installs, and more.

Duties

• Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting grades, and ensuring proper base installation for paver placement
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute designs
• Operate power tools and hand tools such as compactors, saws, levels, and trowels to install pavers efficiently
• Lay out patterns and install pavers with precision, ensuring proper alignment and spacing for durability and visual appeal
• Mix and apply concrete or mortar as needed for setting pavers securely in place
• Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
• Coordinate with team members on heavy equipment operation, excavation, and other related tasks to maintain workflow momentum
• Utilize construction management software like Bluebeam for documentation and project tracking when necessary
• Conduct quality control checks on completed work, including finishing surfaces with techniques like concrete finishing or caulking where applicable
• Assist in restoration or repair of existing paved surfaces by removing old materials and installing new ones

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on hardscape installation or masonry preferred
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction safety protocols
• Familiarity with concrete forming, masonry techniques, tile laying, plastering, stucco application, roofing basics, carpentry (including trim carpentry), framing, door hanging, flooring installation, cabinet installation, glass installation, welding, restoration work, and other related trades is highly desirable
• Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials safely
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment

Pay: $17.00 - $29.00 per hour
